It’s 2023 and we’re ready to rock ‘n’ roll with 10 new hires joining our team. All of these dynamic folks are bringing unique skills and talents to the table, but more importantly, they come with cool hobbies, interesting fun facts, and hilarious stories to share. Read on to learn more about our newest recruits!
Dani Crino (she/her/hers)
- Title: Account Manager
- Hometown: Hamburg, NY
- Something You Should Know: Some of her favorite things include animals, iced coffee, and craft beer. Us too, Dani, us too.
Ashley Glassman (she/her/hers)
- Title: Project Manager
- Hometown: Jacksonville, Florida
- What Inspired Them to Work in Healthcare: “When I discovered the impact of Praxis’ work, I became eager to join the team and become part of the process to connect people with treatments that could better their lives.”
- Something You Should Know: She once ran into three-time Stanley Cup winner Sidney Crosby. And by “ran into” we literally mean slammed face-first into him. (You’ll have to ask her about it!)
Raegan Essman (she/her/hers)
- Title: Project Coordinator
- Hometown: Hamburg, NY
- What Inspired Them to Work in Healthcare: “I’ve always had a passion for healthcare. I studied healthcare in college and have worked within a number of roles from staffing to management. This new position gives me the opportunity to explore the industry in a brand new way and continue to build upon my knowledge as well as see a new side to its incredible impact.”
- Something You Should Know: She named her dog Moe after the popular burrito chain. Well, we know where she stands on the Moe’s vs. Chipotle debate
Chelsea Thornton (she/her/hers)
- Title: Project Coordinator
- Hometown: Buffalo, NY
- What Inspired Them to Work in Healthcare: “I thought this position would be the perfect way to get my foot in the door to this fascinating industry.”
- Something You Should Know: One of her favorite hobbies is traveling to attend concerts. Last November she went to LA to see BTS perform at SoFi Stadium. Where to next, Chels
Brooke Majka (she/her/hers)
- Title: Account Manager
- Hometown: Orchard Park, NY
- What Inspired Them to Work in Healthcare: “I have always been fascinated with the industry, and when I was presented the opportunity to combine my previous experience in marketing and advertising with a position in healthcare, I knew it was the right choice for me!”
- Something You Should Know: Her life goal is to eat at as many Michelin star restaurants as possible (there are currently 3,364 in the world). Stay hungry, Brooke
Jill Moeller (she/her/hers)
- Title: Strategy Coordinator
- Hometown: Buffalo, NY
- What Inspired Them to Work in Healthcare: “I was inspired by being able to help people and make a different in their lives and their futures!”
- Something You Should Know: She participated in the Disney College Program back in 2022 where she learned to make the perfect candy apple (it’s not as easy as one would think
Ryan Kaska (he/him/his)
- Title: Strategy Coordinator
- Hometown: Buffalo, NY
- What Inspired Them to Work in Healthcare: “Knowing that the work we are doing will ultimately benefit and improve the lives of patients and their families is an incredibly gratifying feeling.”
- Something You Should Know: He’s been playing hockey ever since he was four years old. Wondering what position? Goalie! He's been stopping pucks since before kindergarten.
Anthony Pangrazio (he/him/his)
- Title: Operations Coordinator
- Hometown: Orchard Park, NY
- What Inspired Them to Work in Healthcare: “Working in this industry to help give back to patients is something I’m confident that I can use my skills to help accomplish.”
- Something You Should Know: He was born in the same city as pizza (Naples, Italy).
Meredith Irving (she/her/hers)
- Title: Project Manager
- Hometown: Clarence, NY
- What Inspired Them to Work in Healthcare: “I enjoy a sense of accomplishment when the work I do truly makes a difference in someone's life, no matter how big or small. I’m also interested in helping researchers make discoveries about conditions/diseases that currently don't have a cure or treatment options.”
- Something You Should Know: She loves to travel and has been all over Europe. She hopes to hit a few more destinations on her bucket list in the next year or two.
Susie Cohen (she/her/hers)
- Title: Content Manager
- Hometown: Syosset, NY
- What Inspired Them to Work in Healthcare: “I'm a big advocate for scientific literacy and critical thinking. I admire the work of medical experts and researchers, and I want the rest of my community to trust in that work as well.”
- Something You Should Know: She is a member of Mensa, the largest and oldest high-IQ society in the world. In order to become a member you must score in the 98th percentile or higher on IQ tests. Go Susie!
