Six new faces in Praxis!
We’ve been keeping a secret. Well, a few. Catching up on our newest hires, we’re so excited to introduce to you Chris, Matt, Casey, Leanne, Malina, and Sophia! Read on to learn more about the latest folks to join the team.
Chris McMillan (he/him/his)
- Title: Project Coordinator
- Hometown: Buffalo, NY
- What Inspired Them to Work in Healthcare: “Healthcare isn’t necessarily easy to access, but the work that Praxis does helps pharmaceutical companies redefine the industry’s reputation and provide aid to individuals who suffer from ailments in their daily lives.”
- Something You Should Know: He’s training to become a life/performance coach. On top of that, he’s also getting ready to compete in the 2023 Team USA bowling trials. Strike!
Matt Mulhern (he/him/his)
- Title: Project Coordinator
- Hometown: Buffalo, NY
- What Inspired Them to Work in Healthcare: “My drive to contribute and help those in need.”
- Something You Should Know: Given that he was born and raised in Buffalo, he’s a huge sports fan. He also has six siblings!
Casey Kurkowiak (he/him/his)
- Title: Project Coordinator
- Hometown: West Seneca, NY
- What Inspired Them to Work in Healthcare: “I wanted to use my knowledge in health communication from college and bring it to a space where I could be a part of the reason new treatments can be found for rare diseases.”
- Something You Should Know: He hiked the Manitou Incline in Manitou Springs, Colorado, twice!
Leanne Brigham (she/her/hers)
- Title: Project Coordinator
- Hometown: Rochester, NY
- What Inspired Them to Work in Healthcare: “I wanted to pursue a career that has a positive impact on people's lives.”
- Something You Should Know: Some of her favorite things include long walks, shopping, trying every restaurant in the downtown Buffalo area, and soup. Yes, soup.
Malina Creighton (she/her/hers)
- Title: Project Coordinator
- Hometown: Cincinnati, Ohio
- What Inspired Them to Work in Healthcare: “I wanted to learn more about clinical trials, and ultimately everything involved in creating a successful campaign to bring about new patient solutions.”
- Something You Should Know: She was on a billboard for Xavier University, which also happens to be in her hometown.
Sophia Robinson (she/her/hers)
- Title: Project Coordinator
- Hometown: Buffalo, NY
- What Inspired Them to Work in Healthcare: “Using communication and creativity to make a difference in people's lives!”
- Something You Should Know: Some of her favorite hobbies including playing tennis and going golfing. Another fun fact? She was born on Halloween.
